The Great Reading to Philly Bike Ride! *

Join me this May for a bike ride from Reading to Philly, where we could harass Dave Kelleher! Or, volunteer as a driver, and pick up the cyclists when they finish in Philly.

Pedal down to Penn's Landing for a music fest. Penn's Landing is the site of several annual music festivals, including Riverblues (at the end of May), celebrating blues music, and the Jambalaya Jam (on Memorial Day weekend), which features bands on five stages playing jazz, zydeco, funk, and Dixieland.

Follow the trail to Philly, fun, and cardiovascular fitness.

First Leg: The Thun Trail

(This trail is currently under construction, but we don't give a rat's ass--do we?)

 Location: Berks and Montgomery Counties
Trailheads: City of Reading to Border of Montgomery County
 Length: Approx. 11 miles

Second Leg: The Schuylkill River Trail

(This trail is open for public abuse. The last 11.5 miles are surfaced with ass-phalt--easier on your ass.)

Location: From Montgomery County to Philadelphia
 Trailheads: Valley Forge to Philadelphia
Length: 25 planned, 11.5 miles completed ("planned" is good enough for us)

But wait! There's more.
